The gods Have Heard My Pleas of Desperation

Photobucket
Still reeling from the shocking, sad loss of the greatest shows ever to bless humanity with their presence, "The Riches" and "Pushing Daisies", I now have a glimmer of hope lighting up my wide, child-like eyes. According to Eddie Izzard, there WILL BE The Riches movie. "We’ve had a meeting and the writers are going to go off and slam out a story,” Izzard told the BBC. “We’re going to raise money like Barack Obama through the Internet, and we’re going to shoot it guerilla-style.” As you may recall, the critically acclaimed show about Wayne and Dahlia Malloy, two con artists who steal the identities of deceased well to do couple the Riches, was cancelled in April after just two seasons. Izzard says the time for a big screen adaptation couldn’t be better. “Everything’s getting tight, money’s getting tight and there’s the credit crunch – so it’s the time to go and be inventive.” Fuck to the yes! Eddie Izzard knows what the public needs and that's more Irish travelling con artists who teach their children how to rip off buffers. Viva la Resistiance! The Riches shall rise again!

Eddie Izzard is a god!

The Riches was such an awesome show. I hate all my shows are either ending (The Shield) or have been canceled, yet mindnumbingly stupid crap is still allowed to air (The Hills, I'm looking at you)

I agree! I saw the ratings from Monday night and more people watched The Big Bang Theory (over 10 million) than Chuck (6 mil). Who are these 10 million people watching The Big Bang Theory? And don't even get me started on The Hills. Forget fire and brimstone-that show is how the appocalypse slowly began.
