No Need to Thank Me. I'ze Just Doin' My Job, Ma'am.

To say that the devastation that New Orleans endured as a result of Hurricane Katrina is the understatement of the century. Thousands were left picking up the pieces to their homes and lives, wondering where to turn and what to do. Thankfully, one man has come to the rescue of the city, single-handidly saving them from the depths of despair, and probably making them blush a little too. That man is of course Brad Pitt. The Great One's Make It Right Foundation is currently working on bringing together architects, residents and community leaders to rebuild New Orleans. Their goal is to make new homes that are affordable while incorporating green technology, sustainable design and being adaptable to survive any other catastrophes. With 150 homes almost completed, The Great One is now trying to bring back the Lower 9th Ward and use that model for other areas around the world. “We’ve cracked something here…these houses redefine affordable housing…this is a proving ground for a bigger idea that could work globally,” he tells the magazine. “This project is not mine anymore. It’s so beyond me.” What?!? Nothing is beyond Brad Pitt! He can move mountains, recreate the Earth in five days, and say "Peter Piper picked a pair of pickled peppers" five times fast without screwing it up. The man is amazing. He can make it right in New Orleans all by his lonesome. Forget the January issue of Architectural Digest-they need to create a magazine entitled "Messiah Monthly" so that Brad, Angelina and Bono can all take turns gracing the cover. I really think that's the least we could do.

Ah...Brad, my secret love crush! I'd empty out the flood waters with a thimble just to have the opportunity to see that perfect face on a daily basis.
