Queen Wants the Queen

Adam Lambert must have made a lasting impression on the members of Queen when he jammed with them during the America Idol finale, because the band says they would love to make him a member-even if only for a short collaberation. The band's guitarist, Brian May tells the latest issue of Rolling Stone, "Amongst all that furor, there wasn't really a quiet moment to talk. But (drummer Roger Taylor) and I are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with (Lambert) at some point. It's not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn't that easy. But I'd certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there." What? No follow up joke like "And he's not a bad singer too"? Oh Mr. May, I am so disappointed.
The English band recently ended a four-year partnership with Paul Rodgers, the former lead singer in the bands Free and Bad Company. I can't really see the Lambert committing to something this heavy coming right off Idol (especially since he is obligated to do the AI tour), but as for a collaboration on a song or two? That would be the perfect pairing.

I honestly think he should had won AI then again, as Charon said yesterday, you want to make it to the top 5 but not win, cuz you are AI property for like 5 years and the winners never do so good, its always the other ones. I *heart* Adam with his fierceness :D

That would be cool to see him do some songs with Queen.
