Do Not Eff with Colin Farrell's Family

I think it's safe to say that when it comes to fame, things ain't quite what they used to be. Back in the 50's, Marilyn Monroe might have been met with a friendly photographer while exiting her hotel, Dean Martin might have politely waved at the press as they waited outside the Palms, and Marlene Deitrich might have smiled cheekily as the media snapped away at one of her premieres. However these days celebs are lucky if the paps aren't cursing them out while creepily closing in on them like a pack of wolves about to pounce. Things have gotten more dangerous, more invasive, and quite frankly, much, much more rude. Case in point, Colin Farrell was at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday to preview his new film "Triage". He brought his sister Claudine along as his date, as he has been known to do in the past. All was going well until some jerky pap loudly and rudely ordered Claudine to get the hell off the red carpet so that they could take pictures of Colin, not knowing that the woman he was ordering around was Colin's sister. Obviously this pap picked the wrong celeb to get smart with, because Colin immediately grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and gave him a good, hard lesson in not effing with the Irish.
"Don't yell at her," Colin was overheard saying to the photographer. "That's my sister you're yelling at. You shouldn't yell at any woman like that." He then proceeded to get in the pap's grill and school him on the art of chivalry and manners. The pap was overheard appologizing repeatedly, but the damage had already been done.
Good for Colin I say! He is absolutely correct that no man should ever yell at a woman like that. Especially when said woman is accompanied by her bad ass brother who is eager and willing to crack a bottle over your head for disrespecting a lady. If you ask me, that guy deserved what was coming to him. Sure he appologized but that was only after Colin broke bad on him. Clearly he only said sorry because he had offended a famous person's sibling, which shows what an inconsiderate ass he really is.
Oh, and the one photographer's face in the above photo is priceless. That's a "sucks to be you, rules to be me" face if I've ever seen one.
