Kelly Osbourne Spills Her Style Secrets

In the past, I have called Kelly Osbourne a number of things: spoiled, bratty, entitled, spoiled, annoying, spoiled, you get the picture. However lately the princess of darkness has been projecting a lightness that has chipped away at some of her most cringe worthy habits making her almost likeable. But I guess that's neither here nor there. Regardless of how I felt about Kelly's personality I have always appreciated her style. By now you guys have probably figured out that I am head over heels for that whole grown up punk flavor that is so hard to capture when you are in your 20's and 30's. It's really hard to transition from childhood to a grown up woman with alternative style, but thanks to fashion luvas like Kelly and Beth Ditto, we're offered up prime examples of how to be a metal momma in a hot pair of heels. We've seen Kelly go from a Hot Topic addicted teenager to a lady that mixes the high with the low, the old with the new and the Chanel with the tattered band tees. So what's her secret to style success? The Dancing with the Stars alum is spilling her secrets on how to look and feel your most fashionable. Here are her top eight tips:

1. Invest in Spanx. The right underwear can make an outfit. It can smooth your shape or hold you in all the right places. Big knickers are not embarrassing - they're a bloody life saver! Don't follow the fashion trend of going knickerless and waving your ***** around. I think it's another form of addiction. It's an addiction to attention.
2. Always have a great pair of shoes in your wardrobe. Invest in an expensive pair. A good pair of heels. You wear a pair of Chanel shoes - no one would ever think that the rest of your outfit isn't Chanel and that it might be from Primark (a UK retail chain of very cheap clothes). Actually there is nothing wrong with Primark either.
3. I don't think you have to spend a lot of money on a bag. But pick one that shows off your personality. It's with you come rain or shine.
4. A great pair of jeans is really important. Find that one pair that you always feel good in. You can make jeans look fancy or you can them look casual. For me, the cheaper the jeans the better the fit. I get my jeans from Topshop and they only cost $80.
5. It's important to have a great bra. If your bra doesn't fit it can make you look fatter or saggy. Go to (a good underwear store) and get professionally fitted.
6. Don't wear spaghetti straps if your arms are not toned. It's not a good look.
7. Avoid flesh-coloured tights. They're just so old-fashioned.
8. Don't squeeze your body into a size smaller because you don't want to admit you're a 12 or 14. Wear the correct size for your body shape. Squeezing into a pair of pants that are a size too small will only make you have a muffin top.
And just for inspiration's sake, here are some of Kelly's greatest hits. If you haven't noticed, there's a serious blazer situation going on with her.
