Is what dreams are made of. Seriously. I have this wierd thing when it comes to buying stuff. I don't care if it's a scarf or a pair of sunglasses or a house: when it comes to owning something I have got to have the special feelings about it. And let me tell you-I have the special feeling about everything going on in this picture right here. Sure it is inanimate but I would make sweet, sweet love to that dress all night long. It's just that cute. And if I saw Ana Beatriz Barros stroling on by in it, I would totally follow her down an alley and convince her to gimme. Now I'm not going to give away the tactics I would use, but rest assure I can be very persuasive.

This Dress Right Here...
Beyonce in April's Ebony

Oh hey look! It's Beyonce in a magazine! What a strange and unusual sight to see! I'm not sure what exactly is not clicking in this editorial for April's Ebony, but something just isn't quite right. Maybe it's the wallpaper, maybe it's the scenery, or maybe it's just the fact that I can't turn a corner withought seeing her mug, but this is one spread I could do without.

Dolce & Gabbana Collection from Milan Fashion Week

Dolce & Gabbana channeled The Tudors in a major way during their F/W show on Friday at Milan Fashion Week. The collection was very romantic, very Italian and very, very Renaissance. I loved the rich, decadent colors they used as their pallet. There's something so undeniably regal and decadent about lush velvet red and gold. And as always the craftsmanship and attention to detail is unbelievable. What's also unbelivable however was the use of the padded shoulders. It seemed awfully Balenciaga. (And combined with the volumized skirt? Very Bal. Spring '08!) Now I'm not saying that Balenciaga has a lock on that, but like the red soles on the Louboutins, volumous shoulders have become a signature of the brand. Anyway, here is the collection. Enjoy!

Lady Gaga in Style Magazine

I'm going to be completely honest: I have never heard a Lady Gaga song. Actually, I take that back. I did see her perform once on So You Think You Can Dance about a year ago. I remember it because my husband came in the room during her performance all perplexed asking "what the hell is that?!? I don't like it." But aside from that, I have not heard any of her music. That being said, I do think she has great style. Maybe it's because I am a child of the 80's, but her fusion of the 80's and futuristic fashion makes me all nostalgic. It's very Looker/Runnaway/Divo/Max Headroom/Neuromancer/New Order/Robocop/Atari/Wyld Stallyns in the future/Front Line Assembly/Burning Chrome. Then again, it's probably more of a feeling than something you can describe. You guys that grew up in the cyberpunk era know what I'm saying.

Rihanna and Chris Brown Are Back Together

Rihanna and Chris Brown have gotten back together reports People magazine. This comes three weeks after Brown allegedly committed domestic violence on the Shut Up and Drive singer. "They're together again. They care for each other," says a source. The couple is currently spending time together at Sean "I have sex for 36 hours" Combs's Star Island mansion in Miami Beach. Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves." People mag also reports that Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago. "He called to wish her happy birthday," a source told the magazine. "They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual." Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.
Even Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, who has been very outspoken about the case, says he is behind whatever decision his daughter makes. Fenty says, “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that's the road she wants to choose, I'm behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she's OK."

EW.

Ok first of all, gross. Second of all, I have a little news for Diddy. If you are taking a break from sex to Twitter, you are not doing it right. Now I'm sure that whatever skanky slut you're putting it to (or "ho", as you probably fondly call her) tells you it's great and you're the best and screams your name until her lungs give, but that's just because you're rich. And as any smart money hungry trick knows, if the dude is rich, you are his bitch.
Thirdly, you're actually not in the middle of a 6 1/2 hour tantric sex session. You're twittering. That would be like me watching Heroes and being all "I'm totally mowing the lawn." You see how that works?
Finally, can I get a "Bitch, Please"? You just know he's probably just playing Ninja Gaiden on his damn XBox. You're not fooling anyone Diddles! I've totally got your number.
Dita Von Teese in Fabulous Magazine

Burlesque Baby Dita Von Teese gets up close and personal in the latest issue of Fabulous Magazine. The sex kitten spills her secrets on how to be a super seductress as well as lust lessons on how to find your inner sexiness. No doubt this article is an interresting read and definitely worth the look. Perhaps the most curious part of the interview however was when Dita was asked who she'd like to give a strip tease to. Her answer? Prince. "He's amazing" Dita says. "I recently met him and he said he wanted to see my show. I'd love him to come!"
Whatchoo think about that, Prince?
Yeah, I thought so.
