Time Magazine Names The 100 Most Influential Peeps

Time Magazine has come out with their annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the land and guess who made the list? None other than our favorite Sri Lankan born rapper M.I.A. And although she has been my homegirl for what seems like forever, I find it awfully funny that she is suddenly one of the 100 most influential people in the world. It just seems strange that someone can become so damn influential in the course of a year. But what do I know? But there is something to be said for a lady that is all class and no trash. The actress also looks as ridiculously flawless as ever flaunting her bodacious 39 year old body like she was born yesterday. I'm not quite sure what's up with the bee on her mouth though. Yes! This is what I amtalking about! The contoured poses! The twisted makeup! The over the top accesories! Romance Was Born brought their A game to the Spring/Summer catwalk for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and blew everyone else out of the water. No one even came close. Everything was outrageous, decadent, extreme and delicious. Like Marie Antoinette meets the Little Mermaid meets 50's pill popper meets Alice in Wonderland meets Siouxsie Sioux meets my dreams. It's a fashion orgasm and Perfuckingfection to the third power.

Slacker Chic of the Week: Camila Alves

Let's face it-it was only a matter of time before Camila Alves was our Slacker Chic of the Week. The girl is the very epitome of the phrase! From her comfy, casual style to her totally down attitude to her ability to talk to just about anyone from all walks of life, Camila is just an all around dope chick. Slacker Chic is all about being put together in an easy, spontaneous way. And that is precisely what Camila-and her line of handbags Muxo, is all about. But if you think this girl is all fashion and a pretty face, guess again. In reality Matthew McConaughey-hey-hey's baby mama is actually what you might call a Renissance Woman. In the past Camila has studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and also studied Professionals of Interpretation Courses for TV and Theater and Professional Course of Formation of Actors. She speaks fluent English, French, Italian and Spanish and is trained in ballet, jazz and street dance. In addition Camila can play several instruments including the electric guitar, violin and acoustics. She's also walked the cat-walk for some of the biggest names in fashion including Carolina Herrera, Valentino, Escada, Ocoimar Versalato, Salinas, Rena Lange, and Hugo Boss.
When not speaking Italian and standing Effacé on a stage, Camila is pimping Muxo for all it's worth. But unlike most other celeb girlfriends/wives turned designers, Muxo is actually cute. Not only that, their practical designs make them the perfect accesory for the lady on the go.
This easy going gorgeous mama is making the most out of her life-trying new things, learning interresting skills and living life to the fullest. She's always stylish, always down for whatever, and always Slacker Chic. And that's why she's so boss.
